Since
the Central Mass Chapter of ASGA began back in 2001,
it has proven to be the right place for single golfers
to meet new and interesting people. With all the
tournaments, Nine & Wine's, Hooky Days, spring and
fall golf weekends, social contacts and opportunities
to play golf increases greatly. With all levels
of golfers, there is no pressure of being a great
golfer. A good mix of men/women/ages provides a
connection to great friends. Guests are always
welcome to come on out and give us a 'test drive'
without any commitment. Activities throughout
the year allow members to stay in touch and enjoy
activities outside the golf season. We're all
about having fun . . it's that simple!
The
people who come to our outings are there for the
enjoyment of the club. But each club has to have
some organization, and that comes in the form of a
club president, four committee heads, a secretary,
treasurer, you know, the usual club stuff.
Without this structure, our club will simply fall
apart and people will stop having fun. Here's a
brief overview of our committees and their
responsibilities. We hope you'll become active
and consider volunteering your efforts on one of these
committees.
