Play You Own Ball with Team 1-2-3 Scoring
  • Each team has 4 players
  • Each player plays their own ball
  • Record each player’s score on the scorecard
  • Team score is based on:
  • 1)  Par 5's - take the one best score on the hole for the team score
  • 2)  Par 4's - take the two best scores combined for the team score
  • 3)  Par 3's - take the three best scores combined for the team score
Skins Team Scramble
  • Each player hits their own ball from the tee.
  • All players play from the best shot to the hole.
  • A tee shot must be used at least once from each player (on any hole).
  • The lowest team score on each hole wins the $$$ amount assigned to that hole.
  • If at least two teams tie for the lowest score on a hole, then that $$$ amount  is carried over to the
    next consecutive hole.
Two Best Ball Team Shamble
  • Each team has 4 players.
  • Shamble:  All players hit tee shots, then from the location of the best tee shot, each player plays
    their own ball to the hole.  Play within one club length of the tee shot.  Use a tee shot from each
    player at least once during the round, can be on any hole.
  • Handicap:  Strokes will be given to each player based on the lowest handicap player
  • Record each player's NET  score on the scorecard
  • Two Best Ball Scoring = Team score on each hole is the sum of the two best net scores on the hole.
Team 1-2-3 Shamble
  • Each player hits a tee shot
  • Each player plays their own ball to the hole from the best tee shot
  • Each player's tee shot must be used at least once and can be on any hole
  • Team score is based on 123 Scoring
take the 1 best score on par 5's for team score
take the 2 best scores on par 4's combined for the team score
take the 3 best scores on par 3's combined for the team score
Team Scramble
  • Each team has 4 players
  • Each player hits their own ball from the tee
  • All players play from the location of the best shot to the hole.
  • Use a tee shot from each player at least once during the round, can be on any hole
  • Record the team score on the scorecard
Team Six-Six-Six
Each team has two players.  Record scores for 18 holes and for each Six

Holes 1 thru 6 - Scramble Format
  1. Both players hit their own ball from the tee.
  2. Each player plays from the best shot to the hole
Holes 7 thru 12 - Alternating Shot (Scotch) Format
  1. One player hits the tee shot on holes 7, 9 and 11.
  2. The other player hits the tee shot on holes 8, 10 and 12.
  3. The player whose tee shot was not used, hits the next shot.    
  4. The players alternate hitting the remaining shots to the hole.
  5. Handicap is taken based on the lowest handicap in the tournament field.
Holes 13 thru 18 - Best Ball Format
  1. Each player plays their own ball from the tee to the hole.
  2. Handicap is taken based on the lowest handicap in the tournament field.
  3. The best net score is the team's score for each hole.
"Post Office" Scramble
  • Each team has 4 players.
  • Shamble"  All players hit tee shots, then from the location of the best tee shot, each player plays
    their own ball to the hole.  Play within one club length of the tee shot.
  • Post Office: Proceed to the next hole where you will find an envelope on the men's tee box, open it
    and you will find what scores will be counted for the previous hole.  For example, it could say 4 net,
    4 gross, 2 net, etc.  Total the team score based on the card.  Put the card back in the envelope and
    leave for the next group.
  • The first group will take the envelopes out
  • The last group will pick them up.
  • Use a tee shot from each player at least once during the round, can be on any hole.
  • Handicap:  All players will receive a handicap calculated for the course.
  • Record each player’s gross score on the scorecard.
Switch Player Two Best Ball  Shamble
  • Each team has 4 players.
  • Shamble:  All players hit tee shots, then from the location of the best tee shot, each player plays
    their own ball to the hole.  Play within one club length of the tee shot.
  • Use a tee shot from each player at least once during the round, can be on any hole.
  • Handicap:  Strokes will be given to each player based on the lowest handicap player
  • Record each player's NET  score on the scorecard
  • Two Best Ball  Switch Scoring = Team score is  :
  • First 9 holes: Add the Best Net Score of players:  A/C  and  Best Net Score of players: B/D
  • Second 9 holes: Add the Best Net Score of players:  A/D  and  Best Net Score of players: B/C
Modified Team Stableford Shamble
  • All players hit from the location of the best drive off the tee and play their own ball, from that point,
    to the hole.
  • Each player's tee shot must be used at least once, can be on any hole.
  • Handicap is taken based on the lowest handicap in the tournament field.
  • Put down each player's Net score for each hole.
  • The team's total "Stableford" score is the team score for each hole.
    Scoring:
    8 Points (Net Double Eagle)
    5 Points (Net Eagle)
    2 Points (Net Birdie)
    1 Point   (Net Par)
    0 Points (Net Bogie)
    -1 Point  (Net Double Bogie or higher)
  • The highest team point total wins the tournament.
2 Net Best Ball / 2 Ball Scramble Combo
  • Each team has 4 players.
  • Shamble = All players hit tee shots.
  • C & D players  then play a scramble to the hole.  (playing the best shot of the two all the way to the
    hole.)  They can use any of the 4 drives and there is NO requirement that every one’s drive must be
    used at least once.
  • A & B players   play their own ball (using their own drive) to the hole.
  • Record  each A & B  player’s net score on the scorecard.
  • The Total Score  =   Best Score of A & B players + the  C & D players Scramble score
Event Formats
NOTE:
To maintain speed of play:
  • The maximum score on any hole is double par +1 (pick up at double par and add 1 to get the score)
  • Lost Balls and Out of Bounds:  If a provisional ball was not played, drop a ball within two club lengths
    of the lost spot or out of bounds.  Add one penalty stroke to score
